Privacy policy

This is a translation for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version of this policy prevails.

1. Data controller

The controller of your personal data is KOPROWSKA STUDIO Katarzyna Koprowska, ul. Rynek 5a, 83-300 Kartuzy, Poland, VAT ID 812-187-16-37. Contact: biuro@koprowskastudio.com. No Data Protection Officer has been appointed - please send any questions about your data to the address above.

2. What data we process

  • Contact form - only what you type in yourself: your name, e-mail address, optionally a phone number, the scope you selected and the content of your message.
  • E-mail - if you write to us directly, your e-mail address, the content of the message and any attachments (e.g. a floor plan).
  • Technical data - like any website, ours is served by a hosting provider whose servers process your IP address, the time of the request, the address of the page requested and your browser details. This is needed to deliver the page and to protect it against attacks.
  • Visit statistics - see section 4.

3. Purposes and legal basis

  • Answering your enquiry and taking steps towards working together - Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).
  • Correspondence that does not concern a contract, and establishing or defending claims - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest).
  • Delivering the site, its security and visit statistics - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in a working, secure site and in knowing how it is used).
  • If we work together - meeting tax and accounting obligations, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.

4. Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It does not use cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not track you across other websites. It records aggregated information: which page was opened, which site you came from, the browser, operating system and device type, the country (derived from the IP address, which is not stored) and page load times. We cannot identify an individual visitor from these statistics.

5. Cookies

The site does not use cookies or any other technology that stores or reads information on your device - neither for statistics nor for marketing. The language you are reading is part of the address (/ for Polish, /en/ for English), not a setting saved in your browser.

6. Who we share data with

Your data may be processed on our behalf by:

  • Formspree, Inc. (USA) - delivers messages sent through the contact form;
  • Google (Google Workspace) - hosts the studio's mailbox;
  • Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) - hosting, site security and visit statistics;
  • the accounting office and the person maintaining the site, to the extent needed for their work.

We may also disclose data to public authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your data.

7. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Formspree, Cloudflare and Google may process data in the United States. These transfers are based on the European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) and, where a provider is not covered by it, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission. You can request a copy of these safeguards by writing to biuro@koprowskastudio.com.

8. How long we keep data

We keep correspondence for as long as it takes to handle the enquiry. If it leads to a project - for the period required by tax and accounting law and until any claims become time-barred. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 24 months at the latest, or earlier if you object. Hosting providers keep technical logs for a short period set by their own policies.

9. Your rights

You have the right to access your data and to have it corrected, deleted or its processing restricted, and the right to data portability. Where we rely on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Simply write to biuro@koprowskastudio.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.

10. Providing data is voluntary

Providing your data is voluntary, but without an e-mail address there is no way to reply to your enquiry. Instead of the form you can always write directly to biuro@koprowskastudio.com.

11. Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions about you and we do not profile you.

12. External links

The site links to our profiles on Instagram and Pinterest. Nothing from those services is embedded here - once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that service applies.

13. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy whenever the way the site works changes. The date of the latest version is shown at the top of the page.
